How to Stay out of Court – Mock Trial Event
KeyFleet Automotive and the East Lancs Chamber in association with Forbes Solicitors hosted a fleet management seminar on the 17th of July.
The presentation, directed at local businesses running over 5 vehicles, identified the risks involved to companies should they ignore their duty of care obligations.
Marc Mcloughlin, MD at KeyFleet, said “We were delighted to be able to work with the Chamber to deliver this valuable information to local businesses. I really feel that this is an example of the Chamber really working with small businesses in the area to raise awareness for other Chamber members. Arranging the court room venue with UCLan and also securing the partnership of Forbes Solicitors may not have been possible had we not had their support.”
Over 45 people were in attendance on the day from a wide selection of Lancashire businesses with follow up events planned in 2013.
Tony Greenwood, Fleet Director at KeyFleet – “Many leasing or fleet management companies talk about Duty of Care but rarely do they deliver on these discussions. We have worked hard in the past few years to create simple solutions for a complex issue and have received fantastic feedback from our clients.”
